Italian language course for children (8-11 years)
"Musica, maestro!" is a basic musical course for children aged 1.5 to 3 years and 4 to 6 years.
Through various activities, the children learn the specific language of music know and develop skills that are primarily musical, but also character-forming.
The lesson lasts 45 minutes and consists of the following sections:
1) an initial exercise on rhythm;
2) a specially invented song, where the children experiment with singing softly/loudly, but also slowly/fastly;
3) One or two activities in witch the movement is connected to a specific musical parameter;
4) Occasionally an exercise in connection with reading notes and rhythms;
5) the presentation of instrument (which the children can touch and see live), one song or one opera piece, also through the projection of specially selected videos;
6) a final song.

Italiandò (singing and playing Italian) is a Vivace course that aims to teach (or improve) the language skills of children between the ages of 8 and 11 through music, games, theatre and more.
The focus is on promoting correct writing, reading and pronunciation of the Italian language.
The course is led by teacher Francesca Brazzale, a primary school teacher with international experience. Thanks to her experience as a remedial teacher and her great creativity, Francesca offers a language course that is different from the usual.
Why is this particular course being offered?
Our children already spend a lot of time at school learning to read and write, especially in German and English. For children who want to learn (or improve) Italian, a fun and engaging course can certainly be more useful than a course with a more scholastic and frontal approach. Every activity has been thought through down to the smallest detail to make it both fun and support language learning.
The course is therefore not only aimed at children with previous knowledge of Italian, but at anyone who is interested.
